Petra Yolanda Sonia Bockle known professionally as Petra has been representing the rap game for the longest time and on top of rapping, she has vocals to die for, she’s as talented as they come.

The rapper who has worked with Bobby Valentino, King Kaka on her previous projects and cites Eminem, 2Pac, Mc Lyte, Lil’ Kim as her musical influences has come forward with a new song dubbed ‘Mine’ and there’s no way you can get enough of it.

She effortlessly fuses rapping & singing on the track that carries a touch of dance hall to produce a record that will remain etched in your memory & soul for long.

Petra is as beautiful as she is talented, she can rap in both Swahili, English even Sheng. The best part of it all is that she can actually sing if she wants to. Petra who is of Kenyan and Seychellois descent recently worked with Tanzanian rap heavyweight rapper, Joh Makini, on her ‘Pepea’ record that you ought to have stream if you haven’t already.

Thanks to female rap artistes like Petra, the Kenyan rap scene is getting rather interesting by the minute and records like ‘Mine’, there’s no denying that Kenya’s music, especially in the rap scene, is secured indefinitely.
