Peter Blessing has been reduced to working as a security guard after falling out with Bahati who had signed him to his record label EMB.
Bahati introduced Peter Blessing to the game when he signed him to EMB records. He nurtured his talent and secured him collabos with music heavyweights like Size 8.
However, things went south after Blessing and Bahati clashed over the agreements on the former’s contract with EMB records.
Peter Blessing found himself embroiled in a legal battle with Bahati, accusing him of mistreatment and breach of contract.
The dispute dragged on for months, with both parties giving their sides of the story to the media.
Blessing fell from grace to grass after he clashed with Bahati and left EMB records.
The young singer learnt his lesson the hard way as his music career also went down the drain after leaving Bahati’s EMB records for ‘greener pastures’.
True to Chris Brown’s ‘Grass Ain’t Greener’ on the other side, Peter Blessing found himself in a tight spot where he was only forced to seek employment as a security guard to earn his daily bread.
Speaking to Presenter Ali, Peter Blessing said he was forced to work as a security guard as he got totally broke to the extent that he couldn’t even get food to eat.
“Ilifika time mziki ilikua noma sana kutua video, sikua naweza kupata pesa ya video, sikua naweza kupata pesa ya kurecord. Alafu pia kuna ile kukula nini,” he said.
Blessing added that the main reason he was working as a security guard was just find a way of sustaining himself as he explores way of giving his music career a new lease of life.
“The main thing nafanya hii kazi nipate at least nikule nini alafu nkijaribu tu kutafuta tu my best kama naweza toa ngoma. Ngona nko nazo lakini bado sijashoot videos,” he said.
