Otile Brown has made history in the Kenyan entertainment scene after the successful rollout of his debut album dubbed ‘Just In Love’.
The 10-track album that features Khaligraph Jones, Jux, Kidum, Meddy, and Mejja has garnered 3 million streams in two months on the Boomplay streaming portal alone making history while at it.
Apparently, there hasn’t been a successful studio album that has garnered 3 million streams in two months on Boomplay from any East African artiste in recent history and Otile Brown deserves his accolades, he actually demands it, and rightfully so.
For an independent artiste to achieve what Otile Brown has achieved in such a short time without any clout whatsoever but through real, hard work and dedication to his craft is impressive and something that should be appreciated in the music industry in general today.
We can only imagine how great Otile Brown’s debut project is doing on other streaming portals if it got over 3 million streams in two months, you can’t imagine what the same project got in streams on Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Tidal and other major streaming sites.
Let’s give Otile Brown his flowers when he’s alive, Otile is the GOAT of East African R&B music and currently, there’s no other East African R&B artiste who holds a candle to him.
Otile Brown proved he’s a performing artiste in Just In Love Live Show
“3 million streams in 2 months. Numbers don’t lie. Thank God, thank y’all. Best album just like I promised,” Otile Brown said about his debut studio album ‘Just In Love’.
Otile Brown went on to say that he deserves his flowers and accolades for the accomplishment he’s achieved on his debut project since there’s no other artiste who has done what he’s done on Boomplay[sic].
