Otile Brown has thrown Nadia Mukami under the bus following a fan’s reaction to the song calling out the singer for not being as creative as he’s always been in his prior songs.

The Kenyan R&B singer had the most anticipated collaboration song with Nadia Mukami ‘Kolo’.

After the song was released, a lot of fans criticized Otile Brown for writing a song that does not meet his standards.

Taking to social media, Otile Brown has come out publicly denying the involvement of writing the song disclosing that he was shut down by Nadia Mukami when he proposed writing an original song.

He revealed that he differed on the lyrics of the ‘Kolo’ song from the get-go.

Otile has since blamed Nadia Mukami for the song’s failure categorically stating that eh doesn’t want to be involved in any discussion of the song.

Brown who recently released a record with his former signee Jovial went ahead to say that he only wrote his verse and left it there because as he stated earlier, he wasn’t involved in the production of the song right off the bat.

Otile Brown says that he didn’t want to do the song altogether after his differences and Nadia Mukami but opted to stay and do the record out of respect of record producer Vicky Pon Dis who asked him to be involved in the project as a favor.

“Huo wimbo sio wangu jamani… alikataa niandike akasema ‘I want a hit song not a good song’ weeh!!! Nikaeka verse yangu nikaondoka.

Nilifanya kwa heshima ya Vicky pon dis tu!” Otile Brown defended his honor and his word and the only reason he chose to remain on the ‘Kolo’ project.

As he defended his honor from the online critic, one Mr. Jay Gift who DMd him to launch a scorching attack on him for writing a song for Nadia Mukami, Otile Brown explained further that his songs usually speak for itself because it’s quality, from production to the lyrics.

He went ahead to add that he has never had peace ever since the song got released officially.

“Wimbo ambao nina husika utajua tu! Y’all be trolling me ever since it came out… plz y’all understand and let it slide.

It’s messing up my peace… nilijifunza kama siupendi sikai, respectfully and with love, nothing personal,” added the Dusuma hitmaker.
