Omosh trended a couple of days ago after his plight was highlighted by a YouTuber and made quite a few Kenyans cry after learning about how hard life had hit him.

Omosh real name Joseph Kinuthia Kamau opened up about a lot of things, and since then, a lot of Kenyans, even those abroad came forward to help him out.

Omosh was asked what he would want people to help him out with and he was humbled to say that all he needed was an opportunity even to earn KShs. 200(USD 2) a day, that would sustain him.

“I just want a job, even if I will be getting Ksh200 a day. I don’t mind about class and even if someone decides to start a hotel business where I can sell uji and tea, I am okay with that,” the former Tahidi High actor said.

Omosh confessed that the Covid-19 pandemic had hit him so hard that he couldn’t know what to do, where to go, and found food for his young family.

He couldn’t provide and that was breaking him down because he couldn’t provide for his family, it even brought him to tears narrating how he has been surviving through the help of friends, strangers, and neighbors to feed his family.

“There is nothing as hard as waking up every morning and there is nowhere I am going. You see people going to work and coming back and you have nowhere to go. It is very painful,” he stated.

Speaking on a show on Thursday, February 25, 2021, Omosh cleared the air once and for all about his relationship with his successful sister who is a scriptwriter, actor, and producer and starring in one of the most-watched TV series today on Citizen TV, Mother-in-Law that has been going on for over a decade.

Omosh’s sister, Naomi Kamau speaks on her brother’s trials and tribulations

Omosh said that his sister, Naomi Kamau has been his rock for years, and were it not for her, he couldn’t know where he would be today.

He disclosed that it was his sister, Naomi Kamau who had paid a staggering amount to take him to a rehabilitation centre to help him fight the alcohol addiction that made him lose a lot of things in his life.

“We are on good terms(referring to his sister, Naomi Kamau). My sister Naomi stood with me at my lowest. God bless her.

She paid close to KShs. 300,000 to take me to a rehabilitation centre at a time when I was deep in alcohol addiction.” he stated on the Terence, and Milly Chebby’s show dubbed ‘Thursday Night Live’ that aired on KTN TV.

As of now, Omosh’s tide has changed in his favor, he’s already been issued with land for free, money has been sent out to him to help him stand back on his feet so that he can help his family by providing for them, and he’s even planning to get back to acting.

The thespian has promised to take good care of his money and make sure that his children are well taken care of and go to School to acquire quality education.

Kenyans really came through for him big time, and for that Omosh is eternally grateful, he’s mention that more than enough times.
