Omar Lali who was the boyfriend of the late Keroche Breweries heiress, Tecra Muigai is one happy person after the DPP, Noordin Haji dropped all the charges against him.
On Thursday, July 16, Omar Lali broke down in tears, joyful tears after the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions applied to terminate court proceedings against him.

Omar Lali who was arrested and charged with the murder of Tecra Muigai on May 2, 202 ago was reprieved after he was released and set at liberty after the DPP requested an open inquest.
Omar Lali was set free by the Garsen High Court where he had originally arraigned to have a plea.
Lali has been the prime suspect in the death of Tecra who reportedly fell to her demise in the bathroom of the house they shared on May 3, 2020.
The deceased, who was also a director at her parents’ company, was laid to rest on May 16, 2020 in a private ceremony at the family’s home in Naivasha.
Lali was initially arrested in connection with the incident before being released by a Lamu court on May 28, 2020 on on a Ksh.300,000 bond following the the expiry of a 21-day detention period.
