Every celebrity has a humble beginning or as others say everyone starts for somewhere. Artiste Octopizo, who has a large following in Kenya, took to his instagram handle to share with his followers how far his dreams have come.

The post was punctuated by a Throwback photo which clearly shows a tremendous transformation of a man who indeed had a dream.

He represents the ghetto and has always been a champion of all the youth who grew up in informal settlement to dream big.
He is has risen form a musician who appeals to the ghetto youth to having a breakthough to gain a significant fun base among the elite cutting across the social classes. Most of his songs have been inspired by his humble beginning and his rise to fame has not been easy as he has shared I numerous interviews.
Family has been a big part of his story and he doesn’t shy away to share how his late mother was instrumental in his upbringing. He is also a proud father who says he will do anything to protect his daughters.
“What is fame? Fame is being known by everyone but you not wanting to be with one.” He finished his post in an interestingly paradoxical statement.
“Men I used to yawn and just dream about being the greatest of all time, I listen to Nas, Jay & Em
Then I put my words together & boom 💥! that feeling that you get when you are who you think you are! the type of isolation that comes with that level of artistry is a lonely place and cold you just floating in the middle of Knowhere, but sometimes you have to sacrifice that’ for your family to be happy. What is fame? Fame is being known by everyone but you not wanting to be with anyone” Octopizzo post read in full
