Octopizzo has something to say in regard to the importance of making, creating, generating your own wealth from the ground up.
Octopizzo has always had that tunnel vision of where he intends to be in the near future, even when he was starting out in the music industry professionally as a successful and sought-after mainstream artiste, he’s always had a plan.
The plan is simple really; create wealth, generational wealth through his music and thereafter, the plan was to diversify his passive income that will make sure that his children and his children’s children will have a secure life in the future.
The Kibera-born and bred rapper has for the most part be very instrumental in the music industry making sure the Kenyan hip hop scene has been taken seriously taking it to board rooms and commercialize it successfully, before him, hip hop music wasn’t considered marketable to some extent to the corporate world.
Coming straight from the trenches, the rapper whose real name is Henry Ohanga has achieved some stuff that his younger self wouldn’t believe if he were to be told about the future accomplishments his future self would be able to achieve.
That being said, the rapper who has cross paths with international superstars, achieved a lot in his music career, made history while at it, but chose to remain and stay humble despite him being a Luo(trust me, it’s hard for a Luo to stay humble, especially if he’s successful and have millions in the bank) took to social media to remind his fans, and everyone else about where he is coming from and the importance of reaching his destination safe and sound. He reminded netizens that he is one among the many people who were forced to create their own wealth from nothing because, unlike others, he didn’t inherit anything from his parents.
He also urged netizens to indulge him without pointing their fingers at him for celebrating little and great accomplishments he’s achieved and the ones he’ll achieve in the future.
“Some of us are forced to create our own wealth because we have nowhere to inherit from.
We are also fighting battles our parents never won; so bear with us if we celebrate little things we achieve.” He shared on social media.
Octopizzo is one of the most successful, and prolific rappers of this generation being among the three music acts who have released five studio albums in their careers. The other two are Sauti Sol, and King Kaka.
