Octopizzo has once and for all, finally talked about his latest approach to his music.
If you’re a true, loyal fan of Octopizzo, you would notice that he’s changed the music approach that was almost synonymous to him in the music industry today.
Octopizzo calls the change the much-needed growth and evolving and taking the steering wheel of the Kenyan hip hop and mainstream music, something that he’s been doing ever since he dropped ‘Make that Mulla Buy that Ndula’ record a couple of years ago.
Octopizzo –who recently his 5th studio album making him one of the most prolific, reliable, consistent rappers in the game today and one of the three music acts after Sauti Sol, King Kaka to have 5 studio albums in their music catalog– thanked his loyal stan who was keen enough to notice the change in his music recently and explained why his music is way ahead of the others in the music industry, not just the hip hop and rap arena.
The fan, @smalltownzebra (on Twitter) called him out for being off-key on his ‘Maselina’ record, “Bro ulikuwa Offkey kwa Maselina but we move!,” but Octopizzo was quick to answer him telling him that it was intentional right off the bat; “Offkey was the intention, mi apana singer đđ MCs get away wirh being offkey all the time, as long as I didnât autotune” he answered.

The loyal fan agreed with Octopizzo bringing in the sound over lyricism observation that Octopizzo agreed with.
“I agree, but I kinda think recently you’ve traded off lyricism for sound. What do you have to say about that?” the stan, @smalltownzebra wrote.
“Am glad youâve noticed itâs called growth, I donât have to prove my lyricism anymore, am dope, I got the hardest barz so I needed a new challenge & thatâs why I chose to go for sounds that make me uncomfortable yet broadens my reach as a creative.
Still the Goat đ.” Octopizzo noted.
