Ochungulo Family has finally sent out an official statement about splitting corroborating the rumors that were flying high yesterday.
The Gengetone group comprised of Benzema alias Alejandro, DMore, and NellytheGoon took over the Gengetone scene as soon as they landed in the music scene releasing hits after hits.
It’s sad that the group has since deleted all the songs that they did over the years on streaming portals after splitting and going separate ways.
The YouTube channel has since been taken over by NellytheGoon, he’s even changed the name from Ochungulo Family to NellytheGoon.
Releasing an official statement through their Instagram account, Ochungulo Family said that the decision to go separate ways was a mutual feeling and cordial with and to all parties involved since each and every member of the group have different goals and target in the music scene.

“To all our Fans… We wanna say Thank you for the support you have given us the past for few years.
You have been good to us, God has been good to us & the music has been good to us. We have reached a point we have different goals & targets.
So the decision of us splitting is a mutual feeling and we saw that as the best way forward.

In the past few months, each and every member of the Ochungulo Family has been releasing solo projects individually, maybe each member was trying to send subliminal signs to their fans and we were not quick to pick up their untimely split from the brand they built from the ground up.
