Comedian and media personality has sent shockwaves through social media after announcing plans to expand his already massive family to a staggering 20 children.
Oga Obinna, who is already a father of 15, revealed during a recent episode of his Obinna Live Show that he is far from finished with fatherhood.
The entertainer currently balances life with five biological children and 10 adopted ones—but says his “ideal number” has always been a total of ten biological heirs.
However, it was his strategy for reaching that goal that raised eyebrows, as he admitted he intends to find five different women to bear his next five children.
In a move that sparked instant debate online, the comedian explained his preference for multiple partners using a provocative Swahili phrase: “Kwa nini nimchokeshe?”—which roughly translates to, “Why should I tire her out?”
Obinna suggested that spreading the physical toll of childbearing across different women was a key part of his vision for his growing “army.”
While he admitted that his first five biological children “just happened” without much planning, he told guests Lofty Matambo and Fridah Mwaka that he is now checking the calendar “carefully.”
“I will never say never. I want to be intentional this time. I specifically want more boys,” he stated boldly.
The comedian’s current biological tally stands at four girls and just one son. To balance the scales, he revealed a specific “wish list” for his next five arrivals: two more boys and three girls.
During the light-hearted but revealing interview, Obinna joked about exploring “diversity” within Kenya, mentioning potential mothers from the Kisii, Kalenjin, and Mijikenda communities.
When guest Fridah Mwaka playfully encouraged him to “go international,” the star didn’t rule it out, suggesting his quest for the perfect ten could take him beyond Kenyan borders.
