Nyota Ndogo defends and gives reasons why she wears mitumba clothes

Nyota Ndogo has made a name for herself for being one of the very few musicians who love to have a one on one conversation with her fans, be it online or one on one physically.

The numerous hitmaker who is not only revered in Kenya but across East African region has in the recent past opened up about his personal life that has seen him bond even more with her fans with her recent one being how she was shaved by a spirit, a ghost(you name it) while sleeping.

Taking to social media, Nyota Ndogo who was accused by one of her fans who called her out on her comment section for wearing mitumba(second-hand clothes) despite being a superstar who ought to wear nothing but expensive fancy clothes that fit her station.

“beautiful though she should improve on her dressing a lot of new fashions are out thea apunguze kuvaa mitumba[sic]” one Machocho Martina told her on social media.

Nyota Ndogo being as cool as she is didn’t take offense to the comment and rather went on to explain her reason/s of sticking to mitumba which makes her look classy.

“Huyu pia ni shabiki lakini mazee mtumba ndio yenyewe.” she said, “juzi nilienda kwenye interview nikakuta mtangazaji avaa nguo kama yangu ikabidi nibadilishe kabla sijaingia kituoni sooo MTUMBA SIACHI MPYA NTAANGALIA SANA PALUNUNUA”.

Nyota Ndogo explained how she went on a recent interview that forced her to change her outfit because by chance she happened to wear the same outfit as the presenter was wearing and she didn’t want to look like she jacked the presenter’s outfit or vice versa.

Nyota Ndogo has vowed to never stop wearing second-hand clothes because, “mazee mtumba ndio yenyewe.[sic]”
