Nyashinski and Zia Bett are officially husband and wife after they exchanged their marriage vows in a hush-hush wedding ceremony that was attended by close friends and family members.
Nyashinski, real name Nyamari Ongegu married the love of his life and the mother of their child Zipporah (Zia) Bett in a private ceremony that was held on Friday, December 10, 2021, and was presided over by Reverend Nick Korir of Nairobi Chapel.
The intimate ceremony which was held in Nairobi was attended by Rapper UB, Big Pin, Wahu, DJ Stylez, his former bandmate and long term friend Collo, Nameless, even his former manager Fakii Liwali was present for the joyous occasion. The Master of Ceremony(MC) was none other than Robert Burale.
Zia Bett walked down the aisle to her husband’s hit record ‘Malaika’ which is reported to have been written for her as she was the muse for the song. Nyashinski had her in his mind and heart as he was writing that record.
The wedding was so private that not even the two lovebirds shared the same on their social media handles.
The wedding just as their colorful traditional wedding ceremony that was held in Nandi County was private and delightful in the same breath.
Fakii Liwali, Nyashinski’s former manager who is now a movie producer was Nyashinski’s best man.
The traditional ceremony was held back in 2019 and was attended by close friends and family with some of them being revered, celebrated Kenyan celebrities.
