Natalie Florence Kutoto, better known as Noti Flow, claimed she was misled into attacking Colonel Mustafa after video of him working at a construction site went viral.
Reacting to the video, Noti Flow slammed Mustafa saying that when she was dating the musician she made sure he was taken care of.
She said that often times the two would rely on her money to survive, adding that many girls were attracted to him because of her efforts.
“It’s so funny when you are dating someone and they look all good and sexy and awesome but then girls come to ruin what you have and try to take the person. Little do they know you are the one making them look like that,” she said.
Noti Flow however swallowed back her words after it emerged that Colonel Mustafa ended up as a construction worker because of her mother’s sickness.
The bisexual rapper said that her remarks were insensitive and that she had made the sentiments without complete context of what Mustafa was going through.
Noti Flow said she was not aware that Colonel Mustafa’s mother was battling cancer which stretched the family fianancially.
“I’m really sorry about your mom. I honestly didn’t know at that moment. When someone told me on the live, I was deeply sorry and took back my words, but of course blogs can’t post the good part. That’s not something I’d wish on my worst enemy, & you’re not my enemy. Again, I’m so sorry. Praying for her,” she said in a post on her social media.
