Gospel singer Moses Omondi Tarrus popularly known as Mr Seed cheated on his wife Nimo Gachuiri a few years back. Nimo has since restored trust in her husband after the cheating incident.
Mr Seed cheated on Nimo sometimes in July 2015 before they got married. The two lovebirds got married in a low key traditional wedding held in August 2019.
In July 2015, Kenyans got to know about Mr Seed’s infidelity when an audio of a heated conversation between the gospel singer and his girlfriend leaked online.
In the audio, Nimo could be heard shouting at Mr Seed while trying to get him to confess to cheating on her with another woman. Seed however was pleading with her to calm down as he argued his innocence.
Mr Seed finally decided to come clean about the cheating incident three years after it happened. Speaking during an interview with Massawe Japanni on Milele FM in February 2019, Mr Seed confessed to cheating on Nimo saying that their then young relationship had some issues.
Seed explained that he went to another woman to seek advice after having issues with Nimo, but instead of getting advice, he slept with the woman.
“Yes, I have cheated before. We had broken up but not sure we had, so I went and found someone who was a shoulder to lean.
Those guys who know something is wrong even if you have not told them. So yeah, I went and got myself into a trap.
There is always that one person in our life who knows you’re dating but will always come at the most vulnerable time of your life and it’s easy to fall into the trap,” said Mr Seed.
Mr Seed and Nimo’s relationship almost hit rock bottom in 2017, almost two years after the cheating scandal. Nimo reportedly dumped the singer after he failed to take their relationship to the next level.
The two lovebirds however got back together and on Valentine’s Day February 14th, 2018 Mr Seed proposed to Nimo before he went on to knock her up and married her in 2019.
Well, Nimo has since restored trust in her husband after the cheating incident in 2015. In a recent interview, Nimo stressed that she completely trusts her husband and that she turns a deaf ear to rumors about them.
Nimo however said that if she ever finds out that her husband has cheated on her again it would be completely a different story altogether.
“Issues that are between the two of us, we settle them. I trust my man. I don’t listen to whatever I hear, like things outside here, but if I’ve not found him cheating, that doesn’t count. If I ever find out, I’ll tell you,” said Nimo.
