Khaligraph Jones made history this past Saturday by winning the most prestigious award extravaganza at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria for the Soundcity MVP Awards where he won the coveted Best Hip Hop Awards beating other established African rappers in the game.
Khaligraph Jones who has now won AFRIMA, AFRIMMA and now Soundcity MVP Awards was grateful to the fans who have enabled him to achieve such a mileage on his career and of course his friend and fellow Nigerian legendary rapper, M.I Abaga was one of the closest friends in the industry who reached out to congratulate him on his success.
Emeka Akumefule, known professionally as Blaqbonez didn’t think Khaligraph Jones deserves the awards and he believes he is indeed the best African rapper alive and he feels cheated.
The rapper took to social media and recorded a short video saying that he’s about to diss Khaligraph Jones on his latest yet-to-be-released diss track.
“Somebody tell Khaligraph that I’m still the best rapper in Africa, Soundcity got it wrong, they got it wrong am sorry. Diss track in the morning, you know what I mean?
If this is the genesis of beef between Khaligraph Jones and Blaqbonez, it will be the very first-time Khaligraph Jones will go head to head with another from another country.
