Lillian Muli has graced our T.V screens for many a year and in that period she has built an assortment of both admirers and haters alike. She may have a silky smooth voice, wonderful good looks with the brains and wit to match but there are those people who will not leave her in peace or so she says.
It recently emerged from a post on social media that she was rocking shoes worth 160,000 shs. Not Ugandan, Kenyan shillings. The shoes referenced are called Giuseppe Zannoti and are described as Black Suede ‘cruel’ in the catalogue they come from.
So as usual people will wag tongues as I am. People lead such boring lives so what more is there to add your boring and mundane existence than talk about someone else’s superb life. But Lilian is not having any of that. In a very vicious attack on those who enjoy following and commenting on her life she wrote this:
“I will say this with all due respect. My account is currently private but some of you have chosen to lift my photos or maybe some of you are following me using proxy accounts.
I see my photos on blogs and I’m like wow What now? I’m Not looking for fame I’m not eating life with a big spoon I’m just Joshua’s mother. STOP this nonsense! I just want to live my life quietly. LEAVE ME ALONE!
I bet this won’t make it to the Blogs coz whoever you are you only thrive on negativity…one day you will look back at your youth and regret why you spent so much time focusing on other people instead of yourself! Try and Do you! I don’t even know what you look like and I probably never will! So stop spending so much time on my photos I never look at yours!”
And she was right! You can now get a cookie for being so smart! It has made it onto the blogs. She should be proud that she is still newsworthy. Do you see Catherine Kasavuli’s name being mentioned on the blogs? Damn! I just mentioned her! But you get my point. Relevance is temporary so enjoy while you still have it. But what do I know?
