Ndogo Jaraah whose real name is Phillip Omondi Owino died with all members of his band after the car they were traveling collided head-on with a bus.

The Luo musician together with three members of his band were traveling in a saloon car on Sunday, February 27th when they were involved in a grisly road accident along the Nairobi Nakuru highway.

“Breaking Sad News. We have lost Ndogo Jaraah a promising Ohangla artist through a road accident early today on his way back to Kisumu.

It has been confirmed that Ndogo and his team are all dead! George Williams aka Awillo Subaru keyboardist. Gody Jabusia (Keybodist) Hendry Mavinyo (Shaker),” Luo producer Wuod Fibi announced on Sunday.

The band was traveling from Nairobi to Kisumu after performing on Saturday at a club in Makongeni along Jogoo road.

Before the show in Makongeni, Ndogo Jaraah took to social media and urged her fans in Nairobi ‘not to switch off’ their phones because he was going to give them a show like no other.

Shocked fans who attended Ndogo Jaraah’s show in Makongeni confirmed while commenting on Facebook that indeed his last performance on earth was truly lit.

Ndogo Jaraah’s last post on Facebook was a promise to his fans that he would give them a performance like no other. He fulfilled his promise and died in a road accident, someone could easily say he had a premonition about his death.
