Tanzanian rapper Emmanuel Elibariki, alias Nay wa Mitego, rattled many Kenyans with his song which pointed out Kenya’s flaws.

The song dubbed ‘Wapi huko’ hits at Kenya’s poor leadership which the Bongo rapper blames for corruption, hunger and lack of employment opportunities for its youth.

The Bongo rapper tactfully avoided mentioning Kenya by name in his song but his description left no doubt about which country he was referring to.

Responding to the speculation and reactions, Nay Wa Mitego clarified that he did not mention the name of any specific country in the song.

Taking to social media, he urged fans from Kenya, Tanzania, and Congo to share their perspectives, and noting that the song was not exclusively about Kenya.

“Ebu Niambie Leo Wewe Unadhani Naizungumzia Nchi Gani.?! Tumalize Utata… Kama Ni Mkenya Sema Na Unipe Fact Kadhaa Kwa Huu Wimbo Umeimba Yangu, Na Kwa Watanzania Pia Ni Ivyo Kama Unaosema Ni Tanzania Nipe Fact Zako Kadhaa, Na Congo Pia Vile Vile… Nasoma Comments Zote Haya Twende……” Nay wrote.
