Natasha Chansa, one of Zambia’s fast-rising music phenomenal has released her highly anticipated studio project, an EP dubbed ‘The Genesis’ that has two personas in one project thus why it’s regarded to be a double-sided studio project, a one of a kind so to speak.
There’s no denying that this studio project will instantly make you her stan and believer of her musical works and what she has to offer in the African music scene as a versatile, talented artiste who can sing beautifully as much as she can rap consciously with some impressive rapping skills that cannot be overlooked even for a second.
Her debut EP, ‘The Genesis’, is an intimate masterpiece compiled of 10 tracks which sees Natasha Chansa carving out a lane for herself with her soul-bearing lyricism touching on deep serious issues and subjects like overcoming hardships, the struggle, the pain, the rise & the sacrifices she had made to get to this current point.
The Genesis studio project to Natasha Chansa, is “a project that portrays many beginnings, beginning of her music career, beginning of a new chapter in her personal relationships and growth as an individual as well as an artiste”.

Thanks to her versatile abilities, Natasha Chansa has allowed her alter ego to be a separate artiste because of the difference in narratives & expressions each persona has to say in the music scene as we know it. She calls her alter ego ‘Pro’.
Pro is basically the rap side of Natasha Chansa, therefore, ‘The Genesis EP’ is composed of (2) two sides; Side A: Pro and Side B: Natasha Chansa.
Each persona has five tracks compilation on the studio project on either side.
With her highly impeccable penmanship and hunger to continually push the envelope a lot can be expected from the rising rap star going forward as she continues to stake a claim in the music scene in Southern Africa.
