Natalie Tewa was one of the most famous side chicks thanks to her reported affair with former Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.
After years of being labelled a side chick, Natalie Tewa finally has her own man who she will get married to if all goes well.
Tewa got engaged to her lover Francis Mbugua after saying yes to his marriage proposal.
“I wanted like 10 children when I was young now am late for 10. I am like, where is the man to give me 10 kids. I now want to push five. But the way things are going, let me just have three or four. I love kids and I love nurturing,” she said after the marriage proposal.
Tewa’s engagement comes as a huge relief to her as many people considered her to be just a mere side chick after being linked with Joho.
Tewa and Joho’s alleged relationship with Joho was exposed in July 2020 by blogger Edgar Obare who posted her passport details to prove she traveled to Dubai with the Mombasa governor.
Obare caused a stir on social media after revealing that Natalie Tewa had accompanied Joho and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed on their trip to Dubai.
Joho and Junet travelled to Dubai aboard a private jet to check on former premier Raila Odinga who was in the hospital after undergoing an operation.
Obare was arrested and charged with unlawfully publishing Natalie Tewa’s private and personal details from her passport. He was charged at the Kiambu Law Courts where he pleaded not guilty and was released on Ksh100,000 bail with an option of Ksh300,000 bond.
