NRG Radio presenter Natalie Githinji couldn’t keep calm after Jamaican Dancehall sensation Vybz Kartel commented on her Instagram page.
Githinji shared a screenshot of Vybz Kartel’s comment on her Instagram page, the musician had commented with love emojis.
“You know what, byeee….✈️✈️🇯🇲🇯🇲 My new home is calling…. 😂 😂,” Natalie Githinji wrote.
However, comedian Ofweneke was quick to burst Natalie Githinji’s bubble. He informed her that Vybz Kartel was still in prison serving his sentence and that his manager was the one using his Instagram account.
“@nataliegithinji thats his social media manager he is in jail 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 we need you here stay,” Ofweneke commented on Natalie Githinji post.
However, Natalie Githinji said she didn’t care if it was Vybz Kartel’s manager who commented on her Instagram.
“@drofweneke 😂😂😂😂staki kujua… bora page ni official ya vybz… 😂 😂 😂 naenda jamaica by force ata kama ako jail… amesema niende we talk… 😂 😂,” Natalie Githinji responded to Ofweneke.
Vybz Kartel is serving life imprisonment for the murder of Clive’ Lizard’ Williams in Havendale in St. Andrew in 2011. He was jointly charged with four co-accused, including his protégé Shawn Storm, who is also in prison.
On April 3rd 2014, Kartel was sentenced to life imprisonment. Justice Lennox Campbell said he would be eligible for parole after serving 35 years in prison.
