Nasty C who landed in Kenya last week has finally made it clear why he doesn’t see his collaboration with one of the best rappers in Kenya, Khaligraph Jones coming to fruition.

The ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ alias the Coolest Kid in Africa sat down for an interview in Kenya where he expounds on the reason why he can’t see himself working with Khaligraph Jones.

Earlier on when he landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, he was asked whether he would love to work with Khaligraph Jones on a record.

He bluntly said no, but not as direct as you would have thought. Without throwing any jabs at all to the Kenyan rapper, he said that their styles don’t match at all.

“I have heard of him. But our styles don’t match,” responded Nasty C when he was questioned whether he would work with the Kenyan rapper.

In a sit-down interview at the Teen Republik, he finally let the cat out of the bag about his situation with Khaligraph Jones.

Nasty C says that the reason why he cannot work with Khaligraph Jones is because of a record that he released a couple of months ago, 11 months to be precise. The song in question is the ‘LWANDA MAGERE LEGACY 1’ that was released August 21, 2020.

Nasty C has a problem with that record disclosing that he wasn’t the only South African rapper who had the problem with that song.

The Tall Racks Records founder and CEO believe that Khaligraph Jones was taking subliminal shots to South African rappers, himself included, something he said that would have easily been avoided.

“It’s more like Intentions you know what I mean, it’s like he dropped a song I think, a year ago or something like that and he said some words in there, which I didn’t really appreciate and I think he was taking shots and a lot of people felt the same too, and I was like okay cool! I’m not gonna start beef with anybody, I don’t really wanna do that.” Nasty C said on the NTV show.

In the ‘LWANDA MAGERE LEGACY 1’ that was written and performed by Khaligraph Jones, the rapper says that he’s big not only in East Africa because that’s rather obvious but he’s also big in Nigeria[referring to West Africa] after bodying Blaqbonez in the ‘Best Rapper in Nigeria’ hit record and working with Sarkodie.

Khaligraph Jones also stated that he’s about to take over South Africa as well disclosing on the record that he’s been snubbed by rappers that he tried to reach out to for them to work together on a possible collabo without mentioning names. The Kayole born-and-bred rapper also rapped about Mzansi rappers being stupid for claiming that they don’t know who he is at all.

Khaligraph Jones needs to clear things out with Nasty C who is in Kenya at the moment before they could talk anything in regard to working together. Below is the last verse on the ‘LWANDA MAGERE LEGACY 1’ by Khaligraph Jones that irked not only Nasty C, but most South African rappers. Nasty C wants Khaligraph Jones to clear up what he was saying on the record.

“I thank God for this role/King tracking the code/ And they can’t fuck with the goat/ Came back with the flow/ It’s like king tracking the code/ Banged up the stove/ Yeah we rocking it/ But this ain’t no damn dashing the hoes/ Yeah I took over the West/ Not breaking a sweat/ Nigeria made me a vet/ Now I’m raiding the West/ South Africa baby you next/ I be waiting to flex/ I’m about to pull up in Jozi/ Steady ready to take/ I done had a conversation with some niggas from the South/ Motherf’cks wanna act like they don’t know what I’m about/ If you don’t know who I be/ Then you stupid without a doubt/ Niggas in Sierra Leone/ Keep my name outta your mouth/ Jones!” Khaligraph Jones rapped on the last verse on the ‘LWANDA MAGERE LEGACY 1’ record.

Just so it’s out there, Khaligraph Jones has worked with a few notable rappers. He’s worked with Zoocci Coke Dope, and YoungstaCPT on the ‘Just 2 Flex’ remix, a hit record by BigStar Johnson.

In the NTV interview, Nasty C stressed the fact that he isn’t into beef at all and he doesn’t intend on messing up the perfect relationship he has with Kenya at the moment because Kenya is always his go-to destination whenever he wants to just chill even if he doesn’t have a show in the country.

However, he might have hinted that he is really open to working with the AFRIMMA, AFRIMA, and Soundcity MVP Award-winning rapper, only if he comes clean on what he meant on the ‘LWANDA MAGERE LEGACY 1’ record.

“Kenya is really one of the best places I really like to come and chill, so I’m just gonna stay out of the way, he was the one who started the whole thing, so he will have to clear it up.” Nasty C said.
