Popular Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho rubbed Nasa supporters the wrong way with her post on social media.
Shusho caused a stir when she prayed for president Uhuru Kenyatta a few days ago. She posted her prayer on her Facebook page.
The gospel singer was compelled to pray for Raila odinga as well after Nasa supporters accused her of secretly campaigning for Uhuru.
The trolls from Nasa supporters however didn’t stop even after Shusho posted a prayer for Raila Odinga. Nasa’s legion of followers continued castigating the Tanzanian singer on social networking platforms.
Shusho has finally eaten the humble pie, she apologized to Nasa followers during an interview with Tanzania’s Swahili Times.
“Nawapenda ndugu zangu, rafiki zangu, majirani zetu wakenya. Upendo huo unafanya nifurai mkifurai, nilie mkilia na niumie mkiumia. Naomba mnisamehe, mlio umia na ku kwazika. Kwa niaba yangu mwenyewe, naomba tena mnisamehe,” Christina Shusho apologized.
