Tanzanian music sensation Nandy and her husband, rapper Billnass, marked their second wedding anniversary in an unconventional way.
Taking to Instagram, Nandy posted a video showcasing the special gift she gave to Billnass for their milestone celebration.
Nandy surprised Billnass by placing a white goat in the driver’s seat of his luxury car. She then called her husband to open the car, and to his astonishment, he found the goat tied to the steering wheel.
Nandy explained that gifting a goat is a unique symbol of honor in the Chaga tribe, and she wanted Billnass to feel respected and cherished in their marriage.
“Mume wangu jukumu langu ni kuhakikisha huna stress, una furaha, amani, na unakula vizuri! Pokea zawadi yangu hii ! MBUZI kwa wachaga ni kitu cha heshima sana kama zawadi. Basi na me nikuahidi afya bora na mapenzi tele.
“My husband, my responsibility is to make sure that you are not stressed, that you are happy, at peace, and that you eat well! Receive this gift of mine! A goat is a very respectable gift for the Wachaga. So, I promise you good health and lots of love,” Nandy wrote.
In response, Billnass expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful gift, noting the significance of their two years together, during which they have been blessed with a baby girl named Kenaya.
“Ahsante Kwa Zawadi Mke Wangu ❤️…leo ni Mbuzi na bia Tu !! Au Nimfuge Inaweza kuwa Biashara.
“Thank you for the gift, my wife ❤️… today it’s just goat and beer!! Or should I raise it? It could be a business,” Billnass joked.
The couple tied the knot on July 16, 2022, a union that faced some criticism due to the perception that they wed while Nandy was already pregnant, a situation that some felt was inappropriate for a church wedding.
