2023 has witnessed record-breaking celebrity breakups and King Kaka’s wife Nana Owiti knows why these splits are happening.
From Jackie Matubia and Blessing Lungaho to Vera Sidika and Brown Mauzo 2023 has witnessed some of the nastiest celebrity breakups.
Speaking to SPM Buzz at an exclusive all-white listening party for the Kaka Empire CEO’s 2nd EP, Nana Owiti noted that a lot of marriage or relationship end in breakups because couples don’t communicate.
“What I would say is that every marriage comes with what you can call a constitution, you know. So every marriage is different I would not say what works for me, will work for you.
“At the end of the day, it is about communication. Not just communication, but comprehension. When you communicate to your partner, do they comprehend, do they understand what you are saying,” Nana quipped.
Nana also said that ego also plays a big role in breaking up relationships.
“If we walk in chest-thumping, in situations, in marriage, in partnership maze it will get to a point of a limit. If we can understand one another. I always ask myself a question, if he did what I did to him, would I be okay? If you respect and understand your man, plus understand each other, mtafika tu mahali mnaenda,” Nana said.
Nana and King Kaka have been married for the past 12 years.
