Czars was one of the most promising Kenyan rappers in the early 2000s – he was the Trio Mio of that era but he disappeared without a trace to date.
The ‘Amka Ukatike’ hit maker Czars was reported missing on 13th October 2006, just a week before his KCSE examinations. It was reported that he left to see his friend never to return again.
Czars’ disappearance has been a topic of discussion among Kenyan music fans who still need answers to what happened to the missing rapper.
Some believe that Czars may have disappeared to avoid sitting for the national exams, while others claim that he was with an Italian woman who catered to his every need. Despite these claims, no concrete information has ever come to light.
Recently, a Kenyan on Twitter revived the disappearance and called on investigative journalist John-Allan Namu to look into the matter, saying that fans needed closure.
In response, Namu pledged to help Kenyans understand what happened to Czars.
“Okay, let us do our best. This has to be one of our most requested stories to pursue. Tell you guys what, if you all help we can do it together. Need to talk with @AfUncensored team first though,” Namu said.
Namu has been investigating top crime cases in his documentary series named ‘The Last Door’ airing on Maisha Magic Plus.
With Namu’s pledge to help investigate the matter, there is hope that the mystery of Czars’ disappearance will finally be solved and that his family and fans will finally find closure.
