Nameless showed his mature side answering a critic who didn’t have some interesting things to say about him at all. He proved that he’s the bigger person by choosing to answer him the way he did surprising netizens while at it.
The man whose name was tinted out by the legendary singer –he is thoughtful like that– took to social media telling Nameless that he wished that he was him who would’ve died at the accident that claimed E-Sir’s life.
He even went ahead to add that E-Sir would’ve made a huge impact in the Kenyan hip hop scene today and probably take the genre to a whole new level than anyone would’ve thought possible.
The critic also doesn’t understand why Nameless and his beautiful, talented wife Wahu are doing documentaries now claiming that they’re chasing clout to stay relevant in the music and entertainment industry today.
“Si kwa ubaya but sometimes when I see you I wonder what if it would have been you who died that fateful day of E-Sir’s death because you were together.
If E-Sir was alive, would he have impacted the Kenyan music especially hip hop industry more than you have done? No disrespect but I think he would have because saa hii nyinyi wasanii wa enzi za tene you are trying so hard kufit kwa industry through kiki na mziki sanasana.
Wewe na wife yako Wahu, there was a time when Kenyans knew very less about you, mbona saa hii mmeona ndio the right time kutuanikia documentaries of your lives everywhere on social media. Mnabore. Do music. Toa hits bado like before bila kudepend on your private Soap operas to boost your reviews.” the critic shared on social media.
To the surprise of many, Nameless decided to answer the critic without any ill intentions, without malice but with a gentle, caring heart despite being clearly hurt by the sentiments expressed by the critic.
“Every so often I see a comment and wonder if I should respond…I rarely do but sometimes I choose to respond .. this was my response …..
“I really debated about if I should answer this comment. However I will answer even if I think you could have phrased it better๐คจ๐ ..so here goes…first, I really don’t know why Esir had to die that day ๐, I also wonder how it would be like if he was alive, I don’t know, I just do my best with what I have in the same way I know he would have done his best if it was him in my shoes.
We had different strengths so I know his impact would be different but meaningful in it’s own way. I know for a fact if he ( Esir) is watching me he is proud of my journey because he knew what I was all about.๐๐๐ฟ๐ฏ.
On the issue of sharing more about our journey than before, this is because me and Wahu are at a stage in life we want to share some of what we have learnt along the way, for someone who is interested to learn something from our marriage and/or music journey and hopefully live a more effective life …
We are in the halftime stage of life so we are Reflecting on alot about our first half of life, questioning and adjusting our different world views so that we live more effectively.
Through capturing and sharing this part of our life journey , we know that someone can learn something from it.๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ We also try to do this in the most positive, entertaining, and authentic way that we know how.
But we are also aware that not everyone will learn form our journey because we have different paths , different experiences and different stages of life…so if you don’t like it , I understand. Some people really appreciate it. And that’s how life works. Ama ๐๐ฟ๐. ” Nameless shared on social media.
