Celebrated musician, record producer, songwriter, and the CEO of Pacho Entertainment Record label Naiboi is not happy about not being able to release new music for his fans as the prolific artiste he is.
Naiboi –formerly known as Rapdamu when he was only a record producer– took to social media to express his disappointment of being barred from putting out new music stating that his hands has been tied for 2 years.
Naiboi who is signed to Universal Music Group stressed that all he’s ever wanted was to release music for his loyal fans who have always known him for being a prolific independent artiste who was at liberty to release his music at any given time whenever he wanted to, however, right now, he cannot release any music.
“All I ever wanted is to Release music for my fans. And najua mafans wana shanga [I know fans are surprised]whats up wit A Naiboi!! My Hands been tied for almost 2 years Now.
And I am tired being at mercy of Hawa wasee[these people]. I Might Need serious Lawyers. I might i think. Nimefika mwisho,” the ‘2 in 1’ hitmaker shared on social media in part.
Naiboi who says that he has over 800 unreleased songs that are yet to be released asked his fans to pray for him disclosing that he usually keeps a lot of stuff to himself that a lot of people don’t know about.
The super talented artiste who got signed to UMG noted that he’s nostalgic on releasing new music despite having enough unreleased songs in his catalog disclosing that the long he has for music is immeasurable and his hands are tired because of the red tape with his record label that signed him.
“I Miss NaiBoi as much as you do. Pray for me. I keep everything to myself a lot. But imefika mwisho.
I love music so much it hurts me I have over 800 songs and I can’t release even a single one??????????. WTF!” Naiboi added.
It’s not clear if Naiboi wants out of his record deal since he didn’t categorically state that on his recent social media update that expressed his frustrations of getting blocked from releasing new music to his fans.
The last time Naiboi released his original composition song was three months ago when he released his hit song dubbed ‘Pesa’ that featured one of Kenya’s top comedians DJ Shiti.
In the past two weeks, Naiboi has been a part of ‘Situation’ and ‘Ma Liar’ songs that features Calvo Mistari and Kristoff respectively.
