The Swahili rapping emcee is a veteran hip hop artiste in his own right who knows the ins, the outs, the coming in and the going out of the Kenyan hip hop scene as we know it, he doesn’t need any introduction to hip hop heads in Kenya whatsoever because your favorite rapper knows and respects him as a champion of rap who strives to take the Kenyan hip hop and rap scene to the next level if he can help in any way.
That being said, Nafsi Huru who has an interesting moniker that loosely translates to “Free Spirit” in English wants to send a positive message out through this project about everything positive you can achieve in your life if you only adopt a positive mindset, to begin with.
On the ‘Darasa Huru’ record, he raps from the beginning of the track to the last bit of it, with a catchy hook that resonates to the Swahili-speaking people around the world. This is the type of song that will help you get out of any situation that you’d thought you couldn’t get out of.
