Safaricom Jazz Festival is an annual event where Jazz enthusiast comes to enjoy a sweet melodious music from their favorite artiste and for the recent years it has always been so but they set a precedence with one rapper, Nafsi Huru who is a rapper performed at the coveted Safaricom event alongside his band, Swahili Jazz Band.
Nafsi Huru becomes the first ever hip hop and rap artiste to ever perform in the Safaricom Jazz Festival event. He performed in the 2017/2018 version. This is such an accomplishment that no other hip hop artiste can claim other than the Swahili rapper.
