Diamond Platnumz’s estranged father Abdul Juma has revealed he is struggling to make ends meet as he battles skin cancer.
Speaking during an interview with a Tanzanian news outlet, Mzee Juma he has been having problems with his skin for a while before he was ultimately diagnosed with cancer.
“I also sought help from traditional doctors but the disease keeps coming and going,” he said.
Mzee Abdul disclosed that his daughter Zubeida, who lives in the UK, is the one who has been helping him get medical attention.
He complained that his estranged son Diamond Platnumz had promised to take him abroad to seek better treatment but he disowned him after revealing that his biological father is one Salum Iddi Nyange who passed on.
“Many things unfolded and that promise did not happen, things turned out different,” Mzee Abdul said.
Juma was very angry at Diamond and his mother Sanura Sandra days after it was revealed that he is not the singer’s biological father.
Sometime in 2020, Diamond’s mother revealed that Abdul Juma was not her son’s biological father, saying that she got married to him while pregnant with her son.
Juma got so angry that he even demanded that Diamond should stop using his surname ‘Abdul’ since he was not his biological son.
