In a striking and controversial Facebook post, a user named Mwari Wa Gitau has publicly celebrated the death of Bishop Allan Kiuna, accusing the late preacher of brainwashing him into giving away his hard-earned money during his 20s.
Gitau’s post expresses his strong feelings about Bishop Kiuna, claiming that the preacher misled him into donating substantial amounts of money under the guise of religious offerings.
“I know death is inevitable and I will die one day, but today permit me not to mourn a wicked man who brainwashed me and made me waste my entire 20s by sowing my hard-earned money in the name of giving to God. Not only him, but I will always celebrate the death of everyone who calls himself pastor. In fact, all pastors should die so that our kids won’t find them,” Gitau wrote.
Bishop Allan Kiuna, known for his influential role as the co-founder and senior pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Nairobi, passed away on July 10, 2024.
He died at a hospital in Nairobi after his condition worsened on July 9, 2024, as reported by a family spokesman.
Bishop Kiuna had been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer in 2018/2019 and had been fighting the disease for several years.
His passing has sparked a variety of reactions, with many mourning his loss and others, like Gitau, expressing critical views of his ministry.
Gitau is not the first person to accuse the Kiunas of brainwashing them.
