Mwana FA wants to vie for parliamentary seat in upcoming general election

Mwana FA, the veteran Tanzanian rapper is vying for a Parliamentary seat on this year’s general election in Tanzania.

Mwana FA who hasn’t revealed a lot about his contestation of being a Member of Parliament apart from revealing that he’s vying for a parliamentary seat opened up to XXL Clouds FM in Tanzania.

The rapper has worked with AY on numerous occasions and other established musicians like Lady Jaydee and Vanessa Mdee recently recovered from the pandemic Coronavirus, COVID-19 making him some of the celebrities who have since recovered from the deadly disease.

Mwana FA hasn’t revealed any key details on where he will be contesting on the upcoming general elections because it is against the party’s rules.

“In regard to vying for a Parliamentary seat this year 2020, my party has not allowed me to speak on it publicly but when the time is right, I will let you know.” Mwana FA said.

“But I have intensions of vying for a seat in the Parliament, so even the matter of talking about which Constituency I will be vying for, we’ll have to wait,” he added.

Mwana FA follows footsteps laid out by fellow rapper, Professor Jay who is also a politician and a member of Parliament for Mikumi constituency.
