Celebrated content creator formerly known as Yummy Mummy has finally addressed why she dropped the moniker that we came to know her by for so many years prior to dropping it like a hot potato.
The beautiful, outspoken mother of three who commands a huge following on social media across all major social media platforms sat down with radio presenter Massawe Japanni on her segment dubbed ‘Ilikuwaje’ where she often gets to sit down with celebrities, media personalities, and needle pushers in general and asked them rather interesting questions that you’ll seldom hear them answered anywhere else.
Murugi Munyi said that her having Yummy Mummy as her moniker of choice on social media was somewhat limiting her with working with major brands that she would have wanted to work with.
“Having the Yummy Mummy name was limiting the brands that wanted to work with me,” she explained in the interview.
She went further to note that when she was coming up with that name, she was going through a lot of challenges as a mother and the struggles that come by with motherhood in general.
“I was struggling with motherhood. My son was 6 years old when I got my second child. Motherhood can be lonely, so I wanted to see if other mothers were going through the same.
I looked around but there were not many content creators creating such. I have evolved, I am now a woman who wants to talk about sex, periods etc,” she intimated.
Murugi Munyi is one of the best content creators who caters for mothers and womanhood in the country today, beside her, there’s no other content creator who comes close to the content she puts out.
