Sad day in comedy as Mulamwah quits comedy because of too much online trolls

5 mins read

Mulamwah has taken way too many online trolls from social media that he can handle and he’s finally decided to call it quits altogether.

Mulamwah who has since made a name for himself through online comedy amassing a lot of followers on social media along the way has decided to hang his comedy “boots”.

As a sign of finally doing away with entertaining Kenyans online, Mulamwah has burned the signature jacket that he usually uses on his short skits online.

Mulamwah has been on the receiving end of online trolls which has seen him trend on Twitter for almost a week and for no good reasons.

Fellow media influencer, Azziad Nasenya was also on the receiving end of online trolls together with Mulamwah but the latter couldn’t take any more trolls for his online fans that he came to love and cherish each and every other day.

“It wasn’t an easy decision to make. Am sorry guys, what was to make me happy makes me more sad, more enemies than friends, too much negativity, trolls.” heart-broken Mulamwah said in part.

“I wasn’t here for fame and bad blood but for fun. Shukran sana kwa the support from the fans and everyone else who made it a success. To those who always wished the worst for me I hope y’all happy now, the stage is all yours.”

Mulamwah also opened up about losing their 3-months-old baby with his girlfriend, Caroline Muthoni due to stress caused by the always-bombarding online trolls.

“My prayer is that no one else goes through the same again. I once posted @carrol_sonie while in a hospital bed, we had just lost our baby at 3 months following stress after being trolled online.” Mulamwah added, “I have never been the same since then.”

“Pole sana pia for all who looked up to me especially the kids, I have failed you, but keep your heads up. We shall still meet on different entertainment platforms, social media ADS and product campaigns too. GOD BLESS. Asanteni.” he concluded as he shared a video burning the signature jacket that sees him perform skits on.

Mulamwah who recently bought his fifth and sixth motorbike to help his community gain employment can’t understand why he is constantly getting trolled online for no particular reasons, he iterated that he doesn’t wish any harm and/or ill will to any of his fans, especially his online trolls has he quit online comedy.

Currently, social media is ablaze about Mulamwah quitting online comedy.

“I did not speak today out of fear and stress on how I will be trolled tomorrow when a fresh talent rises.” fellow comedian Flaqo who looks up to Mulamwah tweeted, “But still we stay strooong and thank you for always supporting talent to levels my big bro Mulamwah has reached, hats off to you all”
