Mugithi heartthrob, Mighty Salim laid to rest in Subukia

Timothy Njuguna alias Mighty Salim was laid to rest yesterday on February 2 at his home in Subukia, Nakuru County.

The legendary Mugithi musician passed on after battling with kidney disease.

The heartthrob died on January 24, 2021.

Mighty Salim was the brother to the late Salim Junior that passed away a couple of years ago.
The musician is survived by his wife, Judy, and two adorable, and beautiful daughters.

His sister who also happens to be a musician, Sarafina Salim had something to say about her brother’s sudden death.

Sarafina thanked Moses Kuria, Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui, Samwel Gachobe, Gaichuhie for standing with the family during their troubling times.

“I will miss you.

We the Salim’s want to take this opportunity to thank all artistes and our fans for standing with us at this trying moment, we also want to appreciate Honorable Moses Kuria for standing with us throughout our brother’s illness journey,” Sarafina Salim wrote in part on social media.
