Singer Moses Tarus Omondi alias Mr Seed revealed that Alex Apoko aka Ringtone turned town his request to work with him for a music collaboration.
Mr Seed was responding to a fan who asked him during an interactive Question and Answers (Q&A) session why he hasn’t yet worked with Ringtone.
He responded by saying Ringtone refused to work with him because he (Ringtone) is too holy.
“When are you releasing a song with Ringtoe Apoko. Just release it will be a hit,” a fan asked Mr Seed.
To which he replied;
“Alisema ako holy sana hawezi imba na mimi.”
Mr Seed revelation is puzzling since Ringtone recently announced that he had quit the gospel industry to join the secular world.
Ringtone quit the gospel industry on July 5, 2022. He announced his decision through a video posted on social media.
The controversial singer asked secular artistes to welcome him into the industry and not to treat him as a threat.
“To all artistes in the secular industry, don’t take it as a completion just welcome me with an open heart so that we can take the industry to the next level,” He said,
He also gave a shoutout to a few gospel artistes who he said have been supporting him.
“I want to thank all the musicians in the gospel industry, the likes of Moji Short Baba, Guardian Angel and the rest, thank you for supporting me as your chair.”
