Monifa Jansen isn’t new to the limelight, she literally lives under it after working with numerous celebrated international artistes like Rick Ross, DJ Khaled just to mention a few notable artistes in the music business.
She was also featured on MC Galaxy’s hit record ‘Plantain’ as the video vixen and muse on the official music video.
She’s worked with other artistes as a model before but right now, the former Miss Universe/World Curaçao goddess has a new song that she released herself as an artiste.

Before she released her single dubbed ‘Lockdown’ a few months ago, she was featured as an artiste on the ‘Chapa’ record by Mosta Man. Knaller, Yeyo Sossa was also featured in the song.
In her debut single record dubbed ‘Lockdown’ as produced by Ox, Monifa Jansen yet again proves that she can sing as beautifully as she is.
Monifa Jansen is here to take over the music scene and dominate just as she did in the model industry and with songs like ‘Lockdown’, she’s on the right track.
She’s just given you another reason to love her even some more now that she’s a bonafide musician. It’s only a matter of time before she becomes the face of Latina music worldwide, there’s nothing whatsoever stopping her from becoming the next big thing in the world.
Jansen is one of the biggest exports from Curaçao thanks to her being crowned the crowned Miss Curaçao Universe 2011 and representing her country in the Miss World 2011 and Miss Universe 2012 pageants, but through her music, she’s about to represent her country globally with her records.
Listening to her singing in her native language makes you want to listen to her sing some, maybe even till eternity, that’s how good she actually sounds on her ‘Lockdown’ record.
