Veteran rapper Missy Elliott couldn’t keep quiet after her fellow musician Da Brat and her lesbian partner Harris-Dupart got pregnant.
Missy Elliot took to social media to celebrate Da Brat for getting pregnant at 49.
The two rappers have been friends for close to 30 years.
“This has been my sis @sosobrat for 26 years. We go back further than Adidas suit and Kangol hats@ s further than stone wash jeans I am so happy for you @darealbbjudy & I see the the a glo that is full of peace & happiness I love you & congrats for the beautiful bundle of joy baby boy coming! Hugs him,” Missy Elliot wrote.
Da Brat and her partner Harris-Dupart announced in February that they had conceived a little one via IVF after previously suffering a miscarriage.
“BLESSINGS all 2023,” she captioned the pictures showcasing her baby bump in Chicago Bulls gear.
