Minnie Dlamini shared on social media an official joint statement from her and her husband Quinton Jones that explains their separation after 4 years of marriage.
Minnie Dlamini had one of the best weddings Africa has ever seen. It surpassed the South African plateau they initially thought it won’t break.
A lot of people outside South Africa were keen to follow in earnest every single detail about the media personality’s wedding which the Jones family shared with the country in a three-part series dubbed ‘Becoming Mrs. Jones’.
The wedding that took place in 2017 celebration captured the attention of other people outside South Africa.
The Jones shared their joint statement noting that despite their separation, they will still remain to be business partners, friends and remain cordial for the sake of their son.
“In the last 2 years our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time, we found comfort in knowing we had each other.
Despite our better efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of our individual loss outweighed our will.
After months of separation and consultations with our family and a counselor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce,” the official joint statement read in part.
In went on to read; “Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son.”
Minnie Dlamini and Quinton Jones requested for privacy as they try to weather out this trying and difficult time ahead of them.
“This was a difficult decision to come to and even more heart-breaking to have to announce. In the wake of this news, we ask that you please grant us during this difficult time.” the statement concluded.
