Mike Okombe is finally being buried. passed on early this month after his girlfriend stabbed him four times in different parts of his body. The death which caught many by shock has robbed us Kenyans of a promising rugby player.
The murder case is still in court with the police looking into four potential suspects including his former girlfriend.
The celebrated rugby player was laid to rest at their Emasatsi Village in Kwhisero, Kakamega. The funeral was attended by a combination of relatives, friends and his former rugby teammates. The affair was a sombre one with most in attendance remembering the fallen rugby star.
