The former IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba getting appointed as the new head of the Communications Commission of Kenya is not sitting well with the self-proclaimed General of the National Resistance Movement(NRM).
On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, Ezra Chiloba was announced as the new Director-General of the Communication Authority of Kenya for a four-year term replacing the former Director-General Mr. Francis Wangusi.
“The appointment follows a competitive recruitment process to fill the position left vacant with the retirement of the former director-general, Mr. Francis Wangusi.
Mr. Chiloba is a policy consultant and principal partner with Chil and Kemp and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
He is the immediate former Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission,” the official statement shared publicly read in part.
The exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna has publicly criticized the appointment of Ezra Chiloba as the new Director-general of Communication Authority noting that his appointment is a declaration of war, at least according to him.
Miguna Miguna urged Kenyans to protest the appointment of Ezra Chiloba noting that he was a part of the nullification of the 2017 Presidential election.
The exiled lawyer reiterated on a revolution wanting Kenyans to be a part of it.
