Mighty Salim’s sister thanks the President, Deputy President, Moses Kuria, Lee Kinyanjui for their support

Mighty Salim passing away has dealt a heavy blow in the Mugithi music scene since he was one of the most prolific, consistent, and talented musicians in the genre.

Mighty Salim is survived by his wife, two daughters, and his sister Sarafina Salim.

Sarafina Salim still can’t believe that her beloved brother has passed away. Just a couple of years ago, in 2016, she lost her other brother, a Mugithi legend, Salim Junior.

Mighty Salim’s burial ceremony was attended by the most important people in the country and was streamed on social media, watch the stream of the burial in case you didn’t catch it.

Sarafina Salim thanked all the people who were there for her family including President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Governor Lee Kinyanjui, Moses Kuria, Gaichuhie for being there for the family.

“We the Salim’s family, we would like to pass our gratitude to His Excellency President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, His excellency DP William Ruto, Governor Lee Kinyajui, Mp Hon Kinuthia Gachobe, Hon Gaichuhie, Hon Moses Kuria, Mca’s, Artist, our fans and friends.

We are truly so grateful for all what you have done during the hardest time we had.” Sarafina Salim wrote in part on her social media post.

Adding;

“Thank you very much for giving us a shoulder to lean on and helping us get through this difficult time.

Words cannot express our sincere appreciation for your extraordinary assistance. We thank you for the financial support, your condolences, and all the prayers that you offered to us during that difficult moment.”
