Entrepreneur Michelle Ntalami has delivered a raw and rare glimpse into her private pain, revealing how the death of her father plunged her into a years-long “conflict with God.”
Appearing on The Woman Without Limits with Reverend Kathy Kiuna, the Marini Naturals founder described how her faith was decimated when a promise made by her father went unfulfilled.
“My dad told me to go; he said, ‘Michelle, go. I will pick you up from the airport when you are back,’” she recalled.
But as she studied abroad, the unthinkable happened. Her father passed away, leaving her to face a return journey that would haunt her forever.
As her father’s health declined, Michelle reveals she made a desperate bargain with the heavens.
“I told the Lord, I don’t care if I don’t do well in school, I just want to come back and find my father alive,” she said.

When that “one wish” was not granted, the disappointment was catastrophic.
Michelle was forced to abandon her studies in the middle of her exams. She described the subsequent journey back to Kenya as the darkest moment of her life.
“That was the longest 7 hours on my flight. I felt dead,” she admitted, detailing the crushing weight of grief at 30,000 feet.
Growing up, Michelle’s father had been the one to introduce her to the Bible, yet the family didn’t strictly identify as Christians at the time.
Her Catholic-based high school further shaped a rigid view of faith—one that shattered when her personal tragedy struck.

“I took an issue with Him for a long time,” Michelle confessed, explaining that she felt betrayed by the God she had been taught to trust.
The interview has resonated deeply with fans, many of whom have praised the socialite for her vulnerability regarding the “silent anger” many believers feel during seasons of intense loss.
