Michael Blackson has always wanted to do something big for the community back home in Ghana. As much as he has found success, fame, and fortune, Michael Blackson has never forgotten where he’s come from.
He constantly flies to Ghana at whichever opportunity he gets to do so, he wasn’t doing this out of leisure, all the trips he had been making over the years were to make sure that his lifelong dream of opening up a school is coming to fruition.
Blackson, as he was giving a speech at his new school, Michael Blackson Academy was emotional because he has finally achieved one of his true dreams of building a school in Africa, his home country.
Expressing his joy on social media, Michael Blackson said that he was grateful for the United States of America giving him the opportunity to make sure that the dream that he dreamt about for years come to pass.
He also noted that education has helped him become a better person just the way it did for him and that’s why he’s hoping that his new school will give young children the opportunity to catapult them in achieving their dreams in life because even himself once dreamt big.
“I want our children to be able to dream big just like I did, School taught me discipline and built me a path to dream big.
Thank you America for giving me the opportunity to create this platform and providing me with the ability to strengthen my talents and to make such an impact that I am making today in order to bless my village with a free education,” he shared on social media.
