Mejja is ready, willing, and counting down the days when he will get to share a booth with one of the most talented rappers of our time, Ssaru.

Ssaru is one talented rapper that even caught the attention of Spotify’s Head of Music in Sub Saharan Africa, Phiona Okumu.

“Ssaru is breaking barriers and owning her voice in a space that is predominantly male-dominated,” Phiona Okumu, Head of Music, Sub Saharan Africa says in part.

Ssaru is Kenya’s rap future even though she had to start her catalog from the ground up after most of her songs were deleted from YouTube after a misunderstanding with her former Manager.

She lost all the songs she recorded prior to the misunderstanding with her ex-Manager.

Mejja is one considerate person in the music industry, he wants to work with Ssaru because the first time they got to work together, their collaborative hit song was pulled down from YouTube.

Ssaru had some falling out with her Manager which caused the projects the Manager alleged to have financed to get pulled down from YouTube, she reportedly even lost her YouTube channel.

With all things considered, Mejja wants to work with Ssaru because she’s talented and deserves a whole lot in the music industry if not an olive branch to prove once again that she’s one of the best female rappers yet.

Mejja was speaking in a recent interview where she opened up about wanting to work with Ssaru as soon as possible when he was asked who he will want to work with in the future.

You’ll have to put everything into consideration since Mejja’s dream collabo is working with Tanzania’s Juma Nature, he is willing to put that on hold just to work with Ssaru.

Ssaru recently worked with a former member of Le Band, Charisma on her hit song dubbed ‘Rhumba ya Ssaru’.

She’s yet to react to and/or make a statement about Mejja wanting to work with her again after their first collabo dubbed ‘Leo’ was pulled down from YouTube by her former management.

Time will tell if this collabo will come to fruition since it’s always a hit song every other time when Mejja gets to work with any other artiste. Mejja is a certified hitmaker at the moment in the country which as a ripple effect has caused him to become the most sought-after musician in Kenya, everybody wants a piece of Mejja, and you can’t blame them, Mejja is talented AF.
