Genge rapper Mejja has revealed that he is in a relationship but he does not want people to know who he is dating.
In an interview with Glow Up with Makena, Mejja noted that she has been in her current relationship for a while.
He said that his lover is not a famous person and that he does not want to be in a relationship with a famous person.
“I have never even been in a relationship with a famous person. I don’t want us to have the same story, when we meet at home he gives me information about how his day has been,” he said.
He said his relationship has lasted because he has not made it clear yet or introduced his lover online.
He said he learned that posting pictures of lovers online and informing netizens about the relationship can go wrong.
However, Mejja said that he is not sure about the future of the relationship.
“I’m not sure about getting married right now because my girlfriend is a working person. You can’t meet someone and then tell him to quit his job to be your wife. I’m not in a hurry,” he said.
Mejja whose real name is Major Nameye Khadija had a nasty breakup with his ex-wife Milly Wairimu.
Mejja and Milly Wairimu hate each other with passion and they don’t even hide it, their brawl has played out in public a couple of times.
The two former lovebirds broke up in 2020 and apparently it was a very ugly split.
Milly Wairimu portrayed Mejja as a beast in her post on Instagram in February 2022 while reflecting on their toxic relationship.
She said no human being deserves what Mejja put her through.
In an interview with Tony Mwirigi on TV47 in February 2022, Mejja trashed Milly Wairimu whom he referred to as a devil incarnate.
Asked if there was a possibility of getting back together with Milly, Mejja asked the interviewer not to remind him of the past further likening his ex to the devil.
On May 23 2022, Milly Wairimu wished pain and suffering upon Mejja as he celebrated his 36th birthday.
“Happy birthday idiot I wish you nothing but bad life I mean you have to pay for your wicked ways jibambe,” Milly Wairimu wrote.
