Mejja has the entire industry wanting to work with him because of his seamless efforts of always putting out hit records without any efforts.
For years now, he’s been doing collaboration records helping upcoming artistes find their footing in the music industry and of course making hits with already established artistes in the music industry today.
He has worked with Femi One, Willy Paul in two tracks, Bahati, Sauti Sol, Ben Soul and a so many more before deciding it was time to revitalize his own solo act.
His first two songs since he began releasing songs as a solo act are ‘Ulimi Yangu’, and ‘Siskii’ and fans can’t seem to get enough of his music.
Mejja recently opened up his own YouTube channel a few weeks ago, and today it boasts of over 77 thousand subscribers and counting.
He joined on May 7 2020 but officially released his two songs on the channel one month ago.
Mejja blames long distance on his failed marriage to his wife of five years
Speaking about his recent offering dubbed ‘Siskii’, Mejja opened up about the inspiration behind the song, and just as some few intelligent people might have thought, it was from his own experience in life.
Mejja believes that everybody, especially men are hooked up to the forbidden fruit, something which gives them some sort of adrenaline and that’s why some men usually choose to stay in a violent relationship, just for the thrill of it and most importantly because they are addictive.
“It happened to me, you know those relationships that have violence are so addictive. The forbidden fruit is always sweet, everyman has passed through that. When you are given advice, you see it but you go back doing the same thing.” Mejja opened up about the story behind his hit song ‘Siskii’ on Mambo Mseto.
