Meet The South Sudanese Woman Who Organized Project X In Her House In Phenom estate Lang’ata (Photos)

106 teens were yesterday arrested partying in Phenom estate, Lang’ata area. The police were called in by neighbors who informed them the infamous Project X was going down.

A South Sudanese, Mary Nyanyuk, was also arrested as police raided her house where the party was happening.

Ms Nyanyuk says she held the party to celebrate her son’s performance in the Kenya Certificate Secondary Education (KCSE) exams whose results were released last week.

Police booked her for serving minors with liquor. Some of the teens arrested during Thursday evening raid were said to be intoxicated.

The South Sudanese woman was presented before a magistrate at the Kibera Law Courts where she denied her charge.

The magistrate ordered that Mary Nyanyuk be detained till Monday when her case will be mentioned again.
